I’m Disappointed In Drake. pt. 2

  Well, now I’m not disappointed in Drake. I had to write this after a re-run through some more songs. And a realization of a different perspective. Drake is the same person who gave you people hits like Toosie Slide, God’s Plan and In My Feelings. Some of you might’ve even listened to it without realizing it’s by Drake.  Ankit, why are you doing a second part of a review for “For All The Dogs” Album? The answer is perspective. After going through lyrics and trying to understand the emphasis of the album, I realize that this album has a deeper but metaphorical representation of what Drake has turned into now. I did address the fact that Drake sounds tired, fed up and upset on this album. That’s because he is. I’m Disappointed In Drake.

This has to be one of the most disappointing album rollouts ever. Personally, I’m a huge fan of Drake, and when Drake announced his new album “For All The Dogs”, I was really excited, since it’s always awesome to get more projects from one of our favorite artists. I honestly thought this would release a few weeks after “UTOPIA” by Travis Scott dropped, but the official date was eventually given as September 22nd. But, as expected, Drake was on tour, so he couldn’t complete the album on time and eventually delayed it till October 6th. And Drake made a lot of promises, about how this was going to be a really good album and how this would sound like the “Old Drake” that all of his fans want.
