Watching “Adipurush” May Not Be Everyone’s Cup Of Tea.

I swear babe, it isn’t JUST the VFX and CGI. Most of my family has been going crazy by saying how we’re finally getting a movie based on the Ramayana and they’re looking forward to see it. The problem is, it has kind of already gained a somewhat negative reputation among the young audience, including me, due to poorly enhanced and added VFX.  When it was first teased in 2020, it was brutally trolled due to the sole reason - with more being added as other detailed trailers started to release. Although the status of the movie does seem better now, people still have a lot to say regarding the inaccuracies portrayed in the movie. This, added along with quite a lot of religious sentiments hurt for showing some characters wearing leather and not wearing Janeu which don’t go in order with the Raamcharitamanas book. Now I’m not gonna act like I’m an orthodox Hindu and say I’m going to avoid watching the movie solely due to the controversies that revolve around it or the poor graphi...

So Many Movies!

So while I was on this awesome and huge 2 month holiday, I had a lot of time to sit around and do anything, so to stay entertained, I started watching movies. And I did. A lot of them. So actually I planned on watching only a few movies, and then these few movies gave me some ideas for getting through the block I had created for myself whilst writing a book, so for the sake of it, I started watching more movies. And I’ve got a lot to say about the movies I’ve watched. I realized that the movies with the most different and unique concepts were the ones rated the lowest on IMDb. On the other hand, the movies which followed a consistent format of any film category got an average rating. The most shocking part was when I saw a movie which was completely trash had 8 or 9 points in IMDb.  I also learnt about how picky and dumb the maturity ratings are, for some films which were 16+ were only rated so due to violence, it was only after watching them that I realized that the movie w...

I Passed 10th.

The year of misery is over. It’s a good time to address the fact that I’m an irresponsible person. And when I arrived to 10th, the fear drove me to finally start studying on my own and pass with good numbers. As my 9th completely went online, regardless of whether the teaching was interesting or not, I was distracted by one thing or the other. And when I arrived to the next grade, I realized that I’m being given every opportunity to finally get myself studying. And so I did. Good enough. I think it became important for me to realize that I gotta start studying for once, and my parents wanted me to do better than what they did, and very surprisingly I did - although it wasn’t anything near what some of my friends got - and it’s almost as if English, Social and language carried my percentage, haha. But the good part is, I’m done with what I feared the most and can finally move onto 11th where there are quite interesting subjects waiting for me.  But being the most weird-minded...

Hanging Out With Good Ol’ Friends.

As I finally arrived in Dubai, the first thing I had to do was dial up my 7-year-long old friends and let them know I’m back in the country, although letting them know I wasn’t gonna be able to drive till Abu Dhabi to meet them. But they said not to worry. They drove to me instead. For 3 long hours. Just to meet me. Sorry, someone seems to be cutting onions in the blog.  I never thought meeting them would’ve been possible again. Although I did play Minecraft with my homie, I could’ve never met the whole group. And  although talking with them was always possible, being buried by studies really made it hard. Especially when it’s 10th. Anyhow, we planned the mall outing like every average high schooler does, but it was a good mall, so fine. And some elite bowling.  We watched the Super Mario Bros Movie, which, although was a good movie, I was disappointed that Mario and Peach didn’t marry each other. Although not sure they’d like to promote the movement among kids. And...

Thanks Marvel, For Being A Sell-Out.

Wow. Remember the good days when about a maximum of 2-3 marvel movies used to release in the theaters? And all of them had a good amount of hype? Yeah, I miss that. Avengers: Endgame was a great movie. Spider-Man No Way Home was even better in my opinion, unfortunately these will be the last few good ones we get. Let’s see what Marvel is doing now. In 2023. Oh, there’s She Hulk :- Damn, the CGI is so bad, and could they really not write a more compelling storyline for a female character instead of making her this weird? Black Panther: Wakanda Forever :- this is a tad bit better, but why is it called Black Panther when the main character is clearly a pantheress? And they’re going to fight with Avatar 2 rip-off characters, and guess what? The whole fight was useless since the good guy was misunderstood as the bad guy. So original. Okay this is bad, surely they must’ve improved for the sake of their future movie projects, right? Let’s check them out. The Marvels trailer :- wow! It w...
